At a recent meeting a WFDA member expressed that
he was not clear about who was now working on the WFDA team and their areas of
responsibility. Obviously, our team has grown. If you’ve ever been in a growing
organization or business, then you understand that change is a constant
companion to growth. The growth in WFDA has come through the offering of new
services to our members. A restructuring
of our team has allowed us to specialize in ways that support those new
services and will help us develop even more new services in the future. As we began changing the team structure last
summer some of our members experienced difficulty communicating with our office
or knowing who they should talk to. So
then, in addition to Executive Director Scott Peterson, here is a list of WFDA team
members and their general area of responsibility.
Bev Kautzky: Shares phone duties with Nancy Magestro from
7:30 to 5:00 each day. Bev administers the conduit, member billing, mail and
data entry tasks. She is also the team contact for ordering additional forms in
support of your Wisconsin Funeral Trust accounts.
Nancy
Magestro:
Shares phone duties with Bev Kautzky, administers event planning and other
scheduling tasks. In addition, Nancy
provides administrative support for WFDA approved continuing education
programs.
Adam
Raschka:
Adam worked for years in the state capitol as a policy analyst for the
Legislature. He is the primary member
contact when you have a legal or state policy question and will provide you
with information about other member services such as the line of Requia
products.
Joe
Plasterer:
Joe is an information systems specialist and plays an important operational
role in the new WFDA structure. Joe is
the architect of the WFDA website and data system that helps support everything
from member mailings to event registration and our online CE program. He also implements new products, such as online
CEs, on the website. Joe is the best contact if you have any questions or
issues with the new website.
Tom Moore: Introducing our new
lobbyist, Mr. Tom Moore. As you know WFDA has adopted a very aggressive
legislative agenda and we need a lobbyist with the right skills to manage that
agenda all the way through the Legislature. Tom has worked on our issues
in the past with Tom Hanson and brings tremendous experience working with
associations like ours. He is one of the best lobbyists in the capitol
and I am pleased to announce that he is now working with us.
As we continue to grow it is our hope to provide
our members with the highest levels of service. Just call the WFDA offices and
let us help you with any question or issue today.
